Who is Sarah Clay Social?

Sarah Clay Social is run by Sarah Clay who is a LinkedIn trainer. Sarah trains entrepreneurs, solopreneurs and small businesses how to leverage LinkedIn to get more clients. Sarah runs online training programmes, individual and group coaching and also has a growing membership group “LinkingIn Academy” as well as a monthly on-line meet up “LinkingOut Club”.

In order for Sarah to grow her own business, she needs some help. The jobs are home working, with the opportunity potentially to meet up and possibly work at Sarah’s home office in Highbury, North London. The ability to travel to London is not essential for the right candidate.

Position: Personal/Virtual Assistant to CEO

I am looking for someone to work with me to get and keep me organised.
You will be my ‘right-hand person’ protecting me from unnecessary enquiries as you liaise with, and co-ordinate other team members and contractors on my behalf reporting back to me when needed.

Your tasks will include but will not be exclusively:  

  • Management of Asana project management tool
  • Setting up Slack channels
  • Co-ordinating team members via Slack and Asana
  • Email inbox management
  • Diary management
  • Researching speaking and training opportunities for myself
  • Facebook group community management
  • Writing SOP’s
  • Researching tech tools to help run the business more efficiently
  • Setting up and operating a CRM system  
  • If time and skillset permit: Setting up landing pages on WP website, integrating payment systems using Zapier and assisting with email system: MailerLite

You are:

An organised, loyal and proactive individual who is not afraid to take over a situation. You are comfortable co-ordinating a team and working independently. You have a good understanding of project management tools and you’re not afraid to research and try new systems.

Position: Social Media Manager

I am looking for someone to work closely with me to run my social media accounts to increase my presence on social media. My main channels are LinkedIn and Instagram with some activity on Facebook. The job is home working, with the opportunity potentially to meet up and possibly work at my home office in Highbury, North London. The ability to travel to London is not essential for the right candidate.

Your tasks will include but will not be exclusively:

  • Working with me to develop a social media strategy
  • Creating varied and interesting content to promote any events and promotions and to grow my social media audience.
  • Setting up a social media management system in Asana, Trello or similar
  • Taking charge of my social media accounts: mainly Instagram and LinkedIn with posting only to Facebook and Twitter
  • Implementing the strategy by developing new, exciting designs in Canva and scheduling content 
  • Being pro-active in coming up with content ideas by researching the internet and social media as well as ideas for re-purposing my existing content
  • Keeping up to date with current changes on LinkedIn and Instagram to take advantage of these changes
  • Providing monthly stats report of social media activity and make adjustments to the strategy as needed
  • Researching other platforms and tools to potentially help me grow my audience and create more engaging content
  • Regularly engage with my audience proactively and reactively on Instagram to increase follower numbers and audience engagement

You are:

A pro-active individual who will work behind the scenes to ensure my content is organised, on-brand and posted in the correct formats. You are happy working alone to deliver results. Research is something you enjoy and you are keen to present different ways of working and new ideas based on current trends. You’re loyal and hard-working and have a sense of humour. Your written English is of a high standard and you understand the basic rules of grammar. You are not afraid to say that you don’t know how to do something but that you are prepared to research to find out how.

While using various platforms to promote my business, one stood out – LinkedIn. I seemed to attract new clients without really trying. All without a cheesy sales pitch and just by being myself. 

I was astonished by the success I had with LinkedIn and couldn’t get over how handy my childhood techniques had been. I realised that all the tools I’d learnt as a child were immensely useful! Soon after, I realised that other business owners weren’t using LinkedIn to its fullest potential. 

That’s why I’ve made it my mission to help business owners, just like you, harness the power of LinkedIn and be more successful in business.
